38 weeks and counting!

Here she is, she has definitely grown and popped out! We cant wait till she gets here!

Puppies!!!

Finally! I got pictures taken of the little beasts...which was no small feat. Puppies are'nt particularly cooperative, although they are photogenic when you can get them to hold still. We seperated them into two groups, the boys and the girls, so people can get an idea of which is which. Anyway the ad will start today and hopefully they will all be in new homes soon and we will have a nice long break of one week before Kady's puppies come! Life is good...

Ok, I know it's pathetic-posting more pictures of the dogs-like we have no life or something...Hailey and I were eating dinner and we had their rapt attention so I thought it would be a good chance to get them all in one shot. Kady is showing off our cool new screen door that does not require a full time doorman to operate-Thank you Dad!

After how ever many years Dave and I have wanted a bed we found this one on sunday for the amazing price of 199.00 plus tax, how could we pass it up?

First day of school

A long standing tradition of the first day of school photo. Every couple of years the group gets smaller. Today is Hailey's first day of Jr. High, and Kelsey's first day as a Senior. These early mornings are going to be tough for Hailey(and me). When Kelsey can't give her a ride to school she will have to be outside to catch the bus by 7:10!

Vacation Puppies

Boy is it obvious this is the 4th litter! The puppies are almost two weeks old and this is the first picture I have taken of them, bad me! But youv'e seen one pile of puppies you've seen them all!

The Shower...

The shower and bar-b-que went perfect! we had a lot of fun and the weather cooperated perfectly. Lindsay got even more cute things from all her wonderful family and friends and we had the best chicken and burgers and corn for dinner! It was so great to have everyone here to help celebrate and now it seems so lonely and boring with everyone gone!

Cody & Jerren....

Cody and Jerren got here yesterday and we have been having a blast! Of course Jerren is an absolute doll! We love her already. They rode Nick and Skip today, in the arena and out in the corn field, Jerren did great and was a great sport and Cody, being a natural loped Nick all over the place. More photos to come........

It's a Girl!!

Well it's official, Lindsay's baby is a little girl! Which comes in handy since there is soooo much girl stuff from cathi's recent little girls...I think there is some indecision as to what the first name will be for sure, but the middle name is definitely Rae. Whatever the name we can't to meet the new little baby!

Montana

Although it was a whirlwind trip, we drove all day friday and monday it was certainly good to see everyone! Luckily everything went well and everyone had a great time. We decided we all look older, as is to be expected, but otherwise we all look the same. There was a pretty good turn out with people coming from all over, even Australia. Jan & Steve's house is amazing and the property is beautiful. The weather wasnt quite perfect but it wasnt horrible either. Kristy's kids are adorable and full of energy!

This was the only thing...

that Wyatt James or Mckenzie Rae doesn't already have! Thanks to cathi and don and the latest arrival of their two girls, Lindsay has inherited just about anything and everything for her baby. Which is really lucky for us so we were able to get the baby the very last thing on the list...the other shot is of the peonies, next year I will use two stakes to hold them up, live and learn!

Happy Mother's day to me and Lindsay!

Lindsay caught a fish with her new mother's day fishing pole! It was probobly not quite a keeper but she wanted a picture anyway, and I got to drive my new car! it is really nice, handles so well and is going to be such a blast! We are so lucky!!

NO WAY!!

I couldnt believe my eyes this morning! He and lindsay got up very early to go fishing so of course Hailey and I slept in quite a bit later, but after turning on the coffee I happened to glance outside and stopped dead in my tracks! It is adorable and of course white just like I like. Once again Dave has outdone himself, I am still in awe! Happy Mother's Day to all of the Mothers and the Mother's To Be as well.

We finally had a day without rain! It is starting to drive me completely crazy, the constant wet...I keep thinking just 6 more years, but will I be able to stand it? Anyway I thought I would post just a couple of pictures we took while cody was still here. He did make it home safe and sound, but wound up getting very sick and being bed ridden for a number of days. Definitely not the ideal way to end your vacation, but it was a few more days off work! Hopefully both he and Jerren will be able to come home this summer for another visit.

Lindsays baby

Today was Lindsay's ultrasound appointment, according to the measurements the baby is 12 weeks and 4 days which makes a November 4th due date. The baby is adorable of cours, we got to see all it's little parts except for THE parts. She will get another ultrasound at 20 weeks so we will just have to wait and see whether we get a little pink baby or a little blue baby. At least the baby looks healthy and normal, is very active and loves to jump and play.

Cody has been having a blst and keeping very busy, riding motor cycles, the 3-wheeler, snow boarding shooting with Dave....boy stuff

Happy Easter!

Here is a picture of all the kids (finally!) It's not so easy to get them all in one place and willing to pose for the camera. Luckily they will do just about anything for their grandma! We are all eagerly awaiting the arrival of the Murphy clan for dinner. dave and Cody got a chance to go shooting this morning and now they are manning the BarBQ. It's a mix of sun and cloud today which is OK and a lot better than rain. Hope everyone enjoys their day...

AWWWWW!

Aren't they so cute? And huge!! They are like hairy little guinea pigs, and they squeak kind of like that too. The one good thing about a small litter is I am not in the feeding equation at all. Apparently Kady doesn't need any help in that department with these little fatties! They look like Rylie's :()!
