Yard Work with da Fry!

We took advantage of the great weather today and got some yard stuff done. Of course we had lots of "help" from our 4-legged friends. Well most of them anyway!

The catalog..

The WCC catalog arrived in the mail yesterday, so I thought I'd share it with you all. The photo-shoot was a lot of fun I think I would probably do it again!

go to Cathi Murphy!!! I am stealing these pictures from my sister's blog to put on mine, the ultimate in lazy-I know. What can I say? They are great pictures, and we don't have any of us with our grand baby until now :) I know it is cheating, but focus on the baby! she is so cute!!

Well......

I know mom wanted me to post pictures of other people, but when Lindsay & Madi came over today Madi got to take a nap with her new little blanket that her Gigi made for her! She loves it by the way....

Madi gets pig tails!

Apparently she wasn't impressed! But I was impressed they were able to get little tiny rubber bands around those little tiny pig tails!!

Since I haven't scanned these yet...

I thought I would at least share them, scanning is on my list of things to do...then everyone can have their own copy. They really did turn out great and I was so surprised!

THE ROOM.......

As many (everyone) knows, Kelsey likes her room messy or at least thats how she keeps it. While she was down at her dad's house for Christmas, Dad and I cleaned and gave her room a mini make-over. Which required at least 30 minutes of vacuuming and dusting, filling up 4 bags with assorted garbage and getting a new bed set complete with curtains new throw rug and a table lamp. It had been a long time since Kelsey's room had a thourough gutting, it was definitely time and I knew it would be far less painful for all of us if we did it without her. Luckily when she came home today she was thrilled! She loved everything and was so excited! (phew!!!) Of course there are quite a few bets going as to how long it will stay clean, I have faith that she will keep it up now that it will be so easy. Her next task is to go through the thousands of articles of clothing she owns and decides which ones really deserve the valuable real estate in her dresser and closet.

Sleeping Beauty

is what we actually should have named her! She sleeps through everything, even her first visit to see Santa. Lindsay and Jake just picked the best picture of Santa since Madi was sound asleep in all of them. After a quick visit to the Dr. today we found out Madi is weighing in at 8 lbs 6 oz.

Today we took some pictures of Kelsey down by the river since her submission is due at school tomorrow for the yearbook. Nothing like waiting till the last minute! At least it wasn't raining or storming like it is now. We were wondering which is your favorite, we are kind of torn so a tie breaker would be helpful....

Puppies!

OK, I have been feeling a little bad about not posting any pictures of the puppies...I have been so focused on lindsay's puppy! They are awfully cute though, I am getting ready to put my ad on line so I thought I would update at the same time!

Definitely a step in the right direction! The home nurse (leslie) came yesterday afternoon and gave her a checkup, and weighed her. All is well and she has gained an ounce a day since her last dr. appt! Lindsay and Maddie spent last night with us and we thought it would be fun to give her a bath, then somehow she found her thumb!
