Th Madi Proof Cat

I'm not sure why this cat is so good with Madi, and other kids as well. Maybe it's because from the time we first brought him home he has been "handled" by Madilyn. You would think that being a cat and able to get almost anywhere the last place he would willingly be is around Madilyn. I think he must like it.....

Madi's Favorite Toy?

The computer! And of course she neeeeeds the mouse too, she may not know why but she does know if she is going to play on the computer she must have the mouse as well. Even with hundreds of dollars of toys to play with designed specifically for babies to help develop and stimulate brain growth, blah blah blah.....

More Snow Corgi's

I know Dave is missing his dogs, and they definitely miss him too! Especially Rylie!! They have such a blast in the snow, Ford is the trail blazer and they all follow his tracks. Then they come in the house and take a nap!

Little Horses Like To....

Play in the snow!

Big Horses Like To....

Watch the little horses play in the snow!

Family Pictures 2008

I forgot to post these...I had meant to do it last week, sorry! These are the new family pictures the kids had taken, Madilyn was a little less cooperative this year than last year. Just wait till next year, they'll have to strap her to something!

One year pictures of Madilyn

I know I am totally prejudice but I think these turned out adorable! I am having a hard time trying to decide which ones I want! Mom, what do you think? Should I just get them all????

Madi Moose

Well we didn't get to take pictures outside in the snow today, it was the last little bit of light by the time the kids finished their Christmas shopping and came out to the house. It was really cold too, the kind of cold that makes it hard to catch your breath! We settled for dressing Madi up in the antlers and making her pose for the camera. You can tell nothing we do to entertain ourselves at her expense surprises her anymore....then we had tacos for dinner. Now it is almost monday again, boo!

Corgis & One Corgi Cat in the Snow

The dogs love the snow, even though they have such low ground clearance it must be cold!

"Madi in the Snow" will be posted later, just in case you were wondering how many posts about snow I could possibly do!

Minis in the Snow

The minis had so much fun in the snow this morning! They ran and ran in giant circles, until Kami turned a corner and her feet flew right out from under her! That was enough running for her, Kyla is a little more agile and remained upright the entire time.

Madi meets Santa!

She willingly sat on Santa's lap although all the other babies there were crying and did not want to be on Santa's lap so she was a little confused. It's still a great picture even if she isn't smiling her regular radiant smile!

The last puppy...

All alone and sad...:( Don't you feel sorry for him and want to take him home? No? Are you sure? He is actually being pretty brave about the whole thing, of course he has been in the house most of the time since the others left him. He is quite fascinated with the tree as is the cat, great! Luckily it's a small tree and shouldn't make too much of a mess.

Happy Wedding Day!

Although it wasn't a year in the making, it all came together quite nicely. Due mainly to the fact that everyone pulled together and made a fantastic team! Dad, Edith and Cecelia arrived on Wednesday in the evening after picking up Nathan on their way through Seattle. It took them forever because of the horrible traffic they encountered throughout a good portion of Washington. Thursday was Thanksgiving and we had a wonderful turkey dinner and Cathi and the littles were able to join us. Friday morning we got up and started with all the preperations for the wedding, there was a lot to do! It actually worked out well that the wedding was here as it rained pretty much all day and it would have been unpleasant to have to take food, decorations, people, etc somewhere else in the rain. Everyone trickled in throughout the day so we had time to visit and relax before the wedding. Luckily we all worked together and it really went smoothly. The pictures tell the story, it was a small but sweet ceremony, the flowers and the bride were beautiful, the food was delicious and most of all it was wonderful to all be together to share in Dad & Edith's special day. Congratulations Dad & Edith, we love you and are so happy for you!
