Nothin' Much

to report, Madi is very sick-she is super congested and has a bad cough and runny nose. It's very sad to see her try to eat or sleep or even breathe. She went to the Dr. today and they prescribed a Nebulizer for her with a medicated mist to help clear up her chest. She has had 3 treatments so far, and hopefully by the end of the weekend she will be feeling better. She is still smiley and happy and sweet as ever! Poor little thing. I thought I would throw this picture of Holly's puppies in their swimming pool too since I told mom I would :) The older puppies have been moved to the outdoor quarters, unfortunately we have had snow for the last two days so they are not impressed with the new digs. I sure hope spring will be back soon!

Happy Easter!

Even though it rained pretty much all day, it was still a great one-! Don, cathi all the kids, jake, lindsay, madi, and of course us- ate way too much and watched all the little kids have all the energy! Perhaps it was all the sugar? Madi really liked her Easter bunny and her little book, the sugar was lost on her but I would suspect in coming years she will catch on to that.

Madi's other Exersaucer...

This isn't the greatest shot as it was sent to my computer from my phone, but it kind of gives you an idea of the other one. Anyway, Madi really likes all the stuff on it and all the lights and sounds, it even talks to her and tells her colors and stuff. Lindsay thinks it's like school!

Madi's new prize

Today while grandpa was in town he picked up a new exersaucer for Madi when she comes to play at our house. We got one for her own house earlier in the week but he spotted this one at Wee ones Reruns and snapped it up! It has a princess theme which fits her perfectly since she is the reinging princess around here (don't tell Kady) She loves all the little toys and thought Grandpa was hysterical when he played too! She is SO cute!! Can you tell we love her to pieces??

How 'bout 6 more?

Well Holly had her puppies this morning, she started at 7:30 and the last one was born at 10:15. All in all she breezed through them and was uncharacteristically quiet about the whole thing. Holly is our most vocal dog and she was indeed vocal throughout the first stage of labor which was all night long, but once she got down to business she was quiet as a mouse. We have 4 boys and 2 girls, 3 sables and 3 tri's. They are all doing great and so is Holly, she seems to really like them! (luckily) I am beginning to feel a bit overwhelmed but I'm sure it is nothing as compared to how I feel in a few weeks!

Here we go again....

In her typical style Suzy had another mega litter. 10 altogether, with 5 boys and 5 girls-mostly sable and tri's with one red & white. she started with her first one at 3:25 pm on saturday then ended at 3:00 am on sunday. All is well and mother and puppies are doing great. Now we have a reprieve until next weekend when Holly is due!

Happy 20th (5th) Birthday Lindsay!

Jake managed to put together a surprise party for Lindsay last night, not only did he keep it a secret but he called all her friends ordered a cake and managed to get her there after we were already there! I must say I was impressed and Lindsay was completely shocked. We had a great time at Mi Mexico, then Lindsay and Jake actually let us take Madi home with us to spend the night! They went out for a while longer, but Lindsay couldn't stand it and showed up here at 2:30 am and slept with me and Madi! Silly girl! Hailey was the only one smart enough to remember a camera so we managed to get a couple of shots at the party.
