Trick-or-Treat '08

Madi's first Halloween was a pretty big hit once she figured out all those nice people were giving her candy! Lindsay and Jake thought the mall would be a better weather choice for Madi's first time trick-or-treating, it was definitely warm...She was able to walk to about the first four stores then we took turns carrying her. Unfortunately the baby sitter never put her down for a nap today so she was tired and was on the verge of melting down. We walked around most of the mall then headed to the food court to eat. Her attitude improved greatly with food, juice and fruit snacks. She was adorable in her costume and the only snail at the mall! We ran into several friends of the kids' including Lindsay's boss, Amber her husband and son (the dragon) we also saw Mahayla, she was an adorable little pirate. All in all it was a pretty fun Halloween..

2 weeks old

Here are some pictures of the puppies at just a little over 2 weeks old. They all have their eyes open now and can crawl around pretty well. They are still pretty much at the guinea pig stage but just give 'em time they'll soon morph into little puppies! We started naming this litter since it's small and manageable, however, since they are all boys we could use some ideas for cute names...

A Snail??

It was hard to imagine how a snail could be a cute Halloween costume when Lindsay told me what Madilyn was going to be, but after seeing it in action...I think it's pretty cute!

It actually suits her too since she moves with the speed of a snail (for now!) not to mention it will keep her warm when she goes trick-or-treating!

More Puppies!!

Well theres something I didn't think I would be saying again, at least not so soon. In the wee hours of the morning Suzy had these six beautiful little puppies. Every single one of them a BOY! I kept checking, it's true. We bred Suzy to my friend's merle chihuahua puppy to see if we could get merle corgi's. And boy did we! They are very unusual and so very cute, I will post more pics as they get older.
