Playing Outside!

Today it was beautiful and sunny but cold. Dave and Hailey took Madi outside to play on her castle, which she really liked. She climbed up the rock wall and went down the slide over and over and over.......

Fascinated....

Last night our friends John and Jen came over with their girls, Nevada and Devyn. Madi was fascinated with Devyn in her car seat. Devyn was watching Madilyn with a fair amount of concern. I'm sure Madi looked "gigantic" to her from inside the car seat. Madi seemed to really like her and was pretty gentle while trying to "tickle" her chin but later when they were all in the living room, much to our horror, Madi tackled and tried to hug Devyn like she does the cat! Devyn almost hit her head on the fireplace rock but at the last minute Madi pulled Devyn on top of her. After nick naming Madi Baby Godzilla we did our best to protect Devyn from Madi's particular brand of love! Not that Devyn isn't tough she is after all the younger sister of a three year old and we know how that tends to toughen one up!
